Cadance Academy Presents The Nutcracker

Since 2005, this spellbinding production of a timeless classic has thrilled and inspired audiences from Across Annapolis Valley and is sure to transport you and your family to a place of wonder and joy.

At Cadance Academy, we’re proud to host an annual production of The Nutcracker at Festival Theatre in Wolfville. As the choreographer, it’s an absolute honor to work alongside our talented dancers and bring this beloved holiday classic to life for our community.

Since 2006, our Nutcracker performance has become a highly anticipated cultural event in the region, earning accolades for its exceptional skill development and ability to bring people together. And with over 15 years of Nutcracker productions under our belt, it’s safe to say that this tradition is one that dancers, teachers, and community members alike look forward to each and every year.

But don’t just take our word for it – we’re thrilled to have received praise from the likes of the Honourable Ramona Jennex, MLA for Kings South, who praised the production for its delightful choreography, dazzling costumes, and community spirit.

The Nutcracker is by audition only. Auditions for The Nutcracker take place in June and are open to dancers aged eight years and up who are enrolled in at least one year long dance class at Cadance.
